Amazon has refreshed its popular e-reader, the Kindle, with WiFi and 3G + WiFi models.
Smaller and lighter than the previous models, the new Amazon Kindle is now available in two colors: white and graphite. It boasts of an improved E-Ink screen with 50% better contrast over competing e-readers. The revamped Kindle has a 6-inch display and features an anti-glare screen making it easy to read even in direct sunlight.
Capacity has also been increased to 4GB allowing owners to store up to 3,500 e-books.
The WiFi-only model sells for $139 while the 3G+WiFi unit sells for $189 and will be available in the U.S. and U.K. beginning August 27.
