Apple resellers have began selling the iPad 2 locally with some stores offering perks such as free goodie bags, krispy kreme donuts, and coffee to its customers.
The official release of the iPad 2 in the Philippines came as a surprise as the country wasn’t in the initial list of countries scheduled to launch the iPad this month. Grey market sellers have been selling smuggled iPad 2′s at double and sometimes triple the suggested retail price since it became available in the United States last month.
With continuing demand for the device, local resellers expect the device to sell out immediately. The iPad 2 has been and continues to be in short supply since its release in March.
The iPad 2 comes in six configurations and is priced as follows:

iPad 2 (64 GB) WiFi = Php 33,990
