Like it or not, Apple’s iPhone 4 is the most anticipated and talked about smartphone in the gadget world.
Now on its 4th iteration, the iPhone 4 arguably remains the gold standard in the smartphone market with its retina display, HD video recording, and WiFi video calling aptly called “Facetime”. While critics and technology observers claim that most of these features aren’t exactly new, Apple’s handset is still viewed by most consumers as having the most user-friendly implementation of such features.
This is probably why despite its reported faults (i.e. bad antenna design and easily scratched glass back), Apple sold over 1.7 million units in just three days after the device was formally offered to the public.
With worldwide demand growing, Apple is struggling to keep inventory up.
The iPhone 4 is currently available in the UK, France, Germany and Japan and will be available in an additional 18 countries by the end of July.
There is no word yet on when the iPhone 4 will become available in the Philippines.
In the mean time, here’s a video rundown of the iPhone 4′s newest features.
